Our staffed fitness centers feature a large assortment of strength training and cardiovascular equipment. The Fercho location also features a walking track.

Additionally, if you’re interested in getting better acquainted with the fitness center, getting workout ideas, or simply consulting with a fitness associate, join us for our Smart Start Fitness Center Orientation – FREE for members! 

After-hours fitness center access is available at the Schlossman YMCA. There is a separate entrance to the Fitness Center, located just around the corner from the usual YMCA entrance, marked by a purple and red YMCA logo. There will be a scanner by the door – just scan your membership card, and you’ll be good to go!

The YMCA offers 100+ group fitness classes on a drop-in basis, like Yoga, BODYPUMP^®, Ultimate Circuit Training, Aqua Zumba and more! Water exercise classes are also available.

Two group fitness studios are located at the Schlossman YMCA and three are located at the Fercho YMCA, one of which is a Cycle Studio. Class schedules and descriptions are available online and on the mobile app. View Fercho and Schlossman group fitness schedules online.

Our Aquatic Center includes a six-lane Lap Pool, Small Warm Water Pool, and a Zero-Depth Kids’ Pool. Both lap swim and open swim are available.

We also have a climbing wall and starting blocks available in our Lap Pool. Additionally, if you’re interested in learning lap swimming basics, getting workout ideas or want to learn how to use aquatics equipment, join us for our weekly Intro to Lap Swim course – FREE for members! We also offer adaptive programming for members with special needs. Open Climb is available on our 32-foot climbing wall. Additionally, if you are interested in becoming belay-certified on the Schlossman YMCA’s Climbing Wall and safely control the ropes, tie knots and communicate commands, join us for our Intro to Belay course – only $8 for members! Open Family Time is available for families to crawl, climb, and play!

Open Gym is available in our Basketball Gyms. Adult Member Basketball and Pickle Ball is also available in the Fercho Basketball Gym during scheduled times. Basketball/Pickle Ball equipment is available for rent at the Member Services Desk.

Racquetball/Handball courts are available for use during facility hours. Racquetball/Handball/Wallyball equipment is available for rent at the Member Services Desk.

All locker rooms are equipped with showers, bathrooms, and lockers. Whirlpools (Fercho) and saunas are located in adult locker rooms. Towels are provided. We encourage all locker users to bring a day lock (cannot stay on lockers overnight). Lockers are available for rent and are attached to your monthly bank draft or annual payment. Half lockers are $10 per month and kit lockers are $5 per month. Locks are also available for purchase at the Member Services Desk. 

Available locker rooms include: All Ages Male, All Ages Female, Adult Male, and Adult Female. We also offer Private Showers and Changing Rooms, ideal for families or anyone who would prefer a bit more privacy.

This is a nice, tucked-away location for mothers looking for a private, quiet, and clean space to nurse and pump. This room will be open every day from open to close and is located across from the Kids’ Gym, in the lower level of the Fercho YMCA.

Members have the opportunity to participate in FREE weekly/monthly programs, like Sunday Fun Day, ForeverWell Fitness, Intro Courses and more!

Members receive BIG discounts on additional offerings, like personal training, swimming lessons, basketball league, birthday party rentals, summer camp, adult programs, and more! Financial assistance is also available. 

Mobile App
Stay up-to-date on facility updates, hours, and schedules, scan in at the Member Services Desk, search for program offerings, and more with our mobile app! The YMCA works with many insurance providers to reward you for working out! Members who visit the YMCA the required number of times per month (specified by their insurance group) will receive a monthly reimbursement. Eligible members may qualify for our SilverSneakers or Silver & Fit programs and may receive a YMCA membership at no cost. To find out if your plan qualifies, simply call the number on the back of your insurance card and check with your insurance company to verify eligibility in the reimbursement program.

Invite your friends to visit the YMCA with you for FREE! Each membership unit includes six guest passes per calendar year.

Guests must check in with you and provide photo ID. Once your guest passes run out, your friends receive $5 off day passes when they visit the YMCA with you!

Short-term drop-in care for children ages six weeks through eight years is available at both facilities. For up to two hours per day, children can play in a safe and enriching environment while their parents work out! Both locations are staffed during peak usage times. Limit care time is two hours per day and parents/guardians must remain in the building while children are in our care. No reservations required.

Access to other YMCA’s across the country through the YMCA’s Nationwide Membership program! 

We are happy to welcome YMCA members who are using the Y's Nationwide Membership to visit our facilities. We encourage our members to call the YMCA they are traveling to in advance to make sure that facility is allowing Nationwide reciprocity at this time.

YMCA members also receive 12 passes a year to our partner facility – Family Wellness (near Scheels Arena).
