WHAT: Red Cross Blood Drive
DATE: Wednesday, March 5
TIME: Noon - 6:00 PM
PLACE: Fercho YMCA Youth Center, 400 1st Ave. S., Fargo
Every day, blood donors help patients of all ages: accident & burn victims, heart surgery & organ transplant patients, and those battling cancer or chronic diseases. In fact, every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood.

First-time donor? Here's what to expect:
- Registration: You'll sign in, show your ID, and be asked to read some information about donating.
- Health History & Mini Physical: Answer a few questions and receive a general health check.
- Donation: You'll be seated comfortably while donating. The actual donation only takes 8-10 minutes.
- Recovery: After donating, enjoy a snack and refreshment while resting for 10-15 minutes.
The entire donation process is about an hour.
